    Horrible service

My husband made a reservation for our 25th wedding anniversary and he was rushed in the hospital for an emergency surgery. We notified you 3 days in advance and you refused to give us even a partial refund! We only had that money to celebrate. You didn't even offer another date for us! We are now not able to enjoy our 25th! That's terrible that you will do nothing in such an emergency situation. I will be making this public in every venue I can. Disgusting that you will probably get paid by another person to stay there. How disappointing that you would offer us nothing! Very bad business.

Neat Clean & Friendly! Place was great easy in/out; Casual Just like we r

Great Place;  Central to many key places with very low rates.  Clean and Friendly Next to a huge restaurant and bar that have the lowest prices for above average food.  Definitely recommend.  Overnight sites easy to get into and large sites.

    Beautiful

Really enjoyed the experience! It’s beautiful and good mix of quiet and lots of activity’s. Can tube down the creek, very shallow so even littles can do it too. Site 133 was super small, so much so I thought he was kidding. Saw site 204 was open and switched to that one instead. Dogs welcome which was super nice!

    Great family park!

This is a great destination RV park if you are looking for a family getaway or just a quiet trip for two. There is plenty to do at the park including a cool swimming pond with inflatables, live music most weekends, corn hole tournaments, Friday fish fry, and much more. My wife and I have a special needs adult son that they welcomed and fully accommodate. The park is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Sparta (Walmart plus other shops) is less than ten minutes away. The park is near an Amish community giving the region a great country feel.

    Nice quick night

We stayed one night on our way through Wisconsin. The campground was very neat and tidy. The folks that ran it were very nice and friendly. We checked in after 7 and they sent us check in instructions (but they ended up being there to check us in anyway). They have a nice playground, pool and jump pad! Great experience.

    ATV/UTV Friendly!

Awesome campground, big sites with grass and trees, and right next to trail system. Bar at the campground has an air-fryer for light food/pizzas and fun atmosphere. We love it here and frequently visit!

    Family, Fun

Great family operated RV park near La Crosse, WI. Clean bathrooms! Some of the nicest I have seen with free showers. Planned themes and activities on the weekends, great fun for the whole family. Enjoyed the nature trails and fly fishing for trout on the riverbank. Very peaceful and relaxing. They also have a beautiful white sand beach around a 1-acre swim pond. The water was the color of the Caribbean with these huge blow-up toys and slides in the middle. Kids loved it. Wonderful staff and service. Highly recommend.

    Good for an overnight stay

Had a decent site, close to other sites, but the park was pretty empty. They were getting ready to close for the winter.

Bathrooms are clean and big. They were far from our site, but it wasn't bad.

There was dog feces near our picnic table and some cigaret butts.

Nothing fancy, but a good place to stay on our way to MN.

No change machine for the laundry, but when the store is open, you can purchase a $10 bag of quarters!

Beautiful place, tent camping is available. Great breakfast and romantic setting for our anniversary. They sell wine and food in the store. Host is amazing and friendly. Disc golf is busy here, in winter they have sledding hills. The llamas are fun to feed.

    Nice Family Campground

I’ve at Leon Valley twice this year as well as visits in 2020 and 2021. This is a clean, well maintained family run campground with a nice pool, picnic pavilion and large playground for children. It is only 5 minutes south of Sparta, WI where one can ride on a nice WI State bike trail too.

    Old school camping fun

This is a huge campground. It feels like a true old-school “campground” not an rv resort or even an RV park. The kind of campground you loved as a kid. It is hilly with mature trees, although not every site has shade. It is very family friendly. There are RV sites, cabins, tent sites and park models. A lot of long term people live here. The sites are grassy or gravel and are very roomy and level. Lots of activities for the kids…basketball, horseshoes, volleyball, sizeable pool, and playground. This place is older but very clean. Very friendly staff. The lake is absolutely stunning. Snag a spot with a lake view if you can! (See map pic). 1-2 bars on AT+T.

    Nice, seems recently well updated

Not our typical type of campground but absolutely no complaints. Very friendly atmosphere and more comfortable sized sites than we expected considering what we typically look for. All amenities are very nice.

Okay for an overnight unless you're into ATVs

We stayed here for 2 nights on the way to Illinois over the summer. It was a busy campground and right off the highway. It seemed to be a mix of seasonal campers and people there for ATVing. There were constantly ATVs going in and out of the campground. Between that and the highway it was pretty noisy. The staff were friendly.

    Very clean, quiet, great amenities

We stayed one with ones day notice after Labor Day. The site was waterfront and one hr prior to arriving experienced a mechanical problem with our tow vehicle. We made it to the campground. They were extremely helpful so much so that we were able to diagnose and resolve the issue on site with tools on hand. The restrooms were spotless. It appears many of the sites are season rentals.

looking for a quiet place to recharge this is the place for you

We ran across a little camp ground called Sleepy Hollow Campground W922 Lower Eagle Valley Road, Fountain City, WI. 54629(609) 687-8351 This is one of the nicest places we have found. It is not marked on RV Trip Wizard or any others that we could find. I found it by accident through Google Maps. It looked like what a campground would look like from the air and by querying the address I found the name of the campground called Sleepy Hollow. They do not advertise and it is a small camp with little amnesties. It has a shower house with restrooms and a laundry. They are clean and well maintained. They have 13 pull through sites 80” in length and very wide with full hook-ups, eight back in sites with just water and Electric. And tent sites as well. It is on a quiet road called Lower Eagle Valley Rd. It is set in a valley with 3 to 4 hundred foot hills full of trails on a working farm. About a mile from the Mississippi just north of lock and dam no. 5A if you are looking for a quiet place to recharge this is the place for you. This is a camping site where there are adults, not designed for kids.
