Lost Falls Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Set within Black River Falls, Wisconsin, Lost Falls Campground runs from May 15 through October 1 and gives access to a sand-bottom waterway where tubing and kayaking are both options. Sites are drive-in with full hookups available up to 50 feet, plus showers, a dump station, and a convenience store nearby for resupply. One thing to know before booking: sites run narrow, which can limit bonfire setup. Trails on the property lead to the namesake falls. Dogs are welcome, and the beach has designated dog hours. Campers exploring camping near Black River Falls will find additional options in the area, including East Fork Campground - Black River State Forest to the northeast. The clear water and sandy bottom make this a workable base for families with kids.

Nice quiet campground

I describe this campground to people as back to the basics. Nice quiet campground where the kids can explore nature, swing on swings, play on the beach...basic essentials. We loved it here. You can tube or kayak. Lay on the beach-the water is so clear, sand bottom. (the beach has dog hours which is neat) walk the trails, find lost falls. You can grab stuff at the convenience store. The only hitch is the sights are a little narrow, which can pose an issue with bonfires. But all in all a great down home family campground!
