Part of the National Park Service's Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area, Rogers Bar provides primitive camping with both drive-in and boat-in access options. The campground features spacious cleared sites under trees and includes vault toilets, though campers must bring their own water. A sandy beach area offers direct access to the reservoir's cool, clear waters.
The main channel sees regular boat traffic from water skiers and tubers, making it less suitable for quiet paddling activities. Campers approaching from the east side of the river need to use the Gifford Ferry, while those preferring to avoid the ferry can access the area via a longer route through the Fort Spokane area. Pets are welcome throughout the campground.
