Washington Natural Resources Parking

OHV enthusiasts can access this gravel parking area managed by the Natural Resources Conservation Service, though a Washington State Discover Pass is required. The uneven gravel surface accommodates RVs up to 35 feet with leveling blocks, as one camper noted when positioning their pickup camper close to what appears to be a four-wheel drive area.

The free overnight parking spot sits near Mount Rainier, providing a quiet night's sleep for those exploring campsites near Ashford. However, GPS directions have proven unreliable, with at least one visitor unable to locate the site using Google Maps coordinates.

Couldn't Find

I'm not exactly sure where this location is, but the directions pulled up in Google Maps took me nowhere. This could likely have been an issue with Google, but either way I had to push on to try and find another location to sleep for the night. Just be aware of this when checking out this spot!
