About Little Goose

This is a heavily forested primitive campground with two primitive sites and pit toilet located near the boundary of the Indian Heaven Wilderness . The Trailhead for the Filoon Trail #102 , which accesses Indian Heaven Wilderness, is located in the campground. This campground has nearby access to the Middle Service Trails.  Little Goose Horse Camp was once the location of Little Goose Ranger Station. The ranger station was built around 1930 and dismantled in the 1960s. Many of the historic photos taken of Native Americans in the berry fields were taken by Ray Filloon, a Forest Service ranger stationed here.
