Managed by Washington State Department of Natural Resources, Toats Coulee Campground sits in forested terrain near a creek in the Loomis area of north-central Washington. No pets are allowed. The campground falls within a state resource management area, and campers heading into the broader Okanogan Highlands can find places to camp near Tonasket as a reference point for the region. Those staying in the area may also want to note Toats Coulee- State Forest, a related site 2.4 miles east.
Description
Toats Coulee Campground has both an upper and lower campground area with nine camp sites. Glaciers and water have moved and smoothed giant boulders that make this campground unique. Campers can also enjoy a picnic near a forest stream.
