Boat-in access is the defining requirement at Skagit Island Marine State Park Campground, part of Deception Pass State Park and managed by Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission. The site has no road connection. Amenities are minimal: toilets and picnic tables are provided, and pets are permitted. Campers arriving by water will find a no-frills base within the broader marine park system. The Deception Pass State Park Campground is another option for those who prefer drive-in access.
