TravelerVery flat spot several miles off ethe interstate. Small 2 lane road next to it. Lots of sites, nothing marked just back in and hang out. No water and electricity, but great for FREE! Convience store down the road with gas and a few things.
ScoutRight in the middle of civilization, and packed in, but very nice. Nice trees, nice facilities, well maintained. Families are here, well behaved. Booked online. The owner noticed us and introduced himself. Will use again when I want the amenities.

GuideThe only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star is because it’s a high density campground. There are some nice features like a community grilling area and laundry. Plenty of showers and bathrooms and they were clean. There is a small patch of grass between each site and a picnic table for each site. The sites and roads are asphalt. Our site was level. Very clean campground.

The campsites don’t offer much privacy from your neighbors. The setup is more like a parking lot, with the sites backed up along the same edge and only a small amount of space between them. That said, the lake view is really nice.
The park itself is great, with a playground, tetherball, and basketball court. We especially enjoyed the boat and gear rentals. The boats were clean, well-maintained, and in great condition. We stayed on a weekday, so the rentals were half price, which was a nice money saver. They also had inner tubes available at no extra charge to pull the kids behind the boat, which was a fun bonus!
Our site had full hookups (water, sewer, and electric). There’s also a small restaurant on-site with affordable prices, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
We paid $45 for one night with full hookups, which we thought was a great value. We would definitely stay here again!
ScoutWe really liked this little campground! The beach was nice and the lake is perfect for swimming or paddle boarding/kayaking. The campsites are pretty close together but they have full hookups. You spend most of the day on the lake anyway so it wasn’t a big deal. We loved that it was close to home and an easy drive. We don’t have kids but it was a very kid friendly place. We have dogs and they loved the paddle board ride around the lake. We will definitely come back next summer!
