Decent car camping

Sites are not shaded at all and very close together. Sites on the water are highly trafficked by other campers. Water was unswimmable due to swimmer’s itch contamination. Host was very friendly and bathrooms were clean.

Little Diamond Newport Washington

We spent a week here and loved it. It is so quiet and peaceful. The sites share electric and water, no sewer and are positioned oddly they are on the off side and in front by the road. Some 30and 50 amp just check the box. The sites are gravel, some what level and size/length varies, a few pull…

Quiet, relaxing

Thousand Trails Member, this is a first come, first served, so get here early, they fill up fast! Electric/Water only, does have dump station available. Nice friendly staff, laundry on site, store open odd days and hours. Overall I would recommend this park as there is things for all family members…

Good family trip

Had a fun time. We had 3 spots all next to each other with plenty of room in between. Lots of activities for the kids and all around fun.

Nice Campground, But…

At your campsite your internet must be purchased and 90 % of the time it is unavailable. A complete waste of money. The campground is a combination of KOA and Thousand Trail. Very few of the KOA campsites have sewer hook ups. There are dump sites available. There is also a mobile pumpout service…

Great spot. short staffed

We were here camping over the fathers day weekend. it's a very nice campground with clean spots and clean restrooms despite being short-staffed. if you are camping with kids the spots closer to the playground equipment are perfect.

The lake is perfect and a nice walk from the campsites.…

Very nice quiet campround

We stayed just 1 night in Mid June and the weather was great. The location for us was great , close to Sandpoint but far enough away to enjoy the quiet afternoon and sunset that evening vs. the noise and activity.

The sites were very well maintained. Power, water and on site dump station. The…

Increadible access to lake Pend Orielle

We fell fortunate to have stumbled onto this great camp site. It have two large loops that have 30ish, clean, large, beautiful spots.

There are areas for large group picnics , an area for dogs, a lovely beach and a boat launch.

The place was packed and apparently books quickly.

Great area for exploring

We found a great spot to camp but since it was dispersed we made our own fire ring and camped in this area. There were some other sites that were occupied or we did not like it as much as the spot we ended up pitching up camp. Saw no ticks, but did get a few bites from other insects.

Hearing the…

Be Warned

We went on the 4th of July weekend. The campground was crowded with families but also groups of adults. The families were great but the adult groups not so much. There is no host to monitor people so there were folks running their generators all night and others were up partying until 2 in the…

Near Lake with Little Views

Stayed here Friday night and you really had to get here by 5 pm to get one of the few first come, first serve spots. Well maintained but expect crowds as most sites have 4+ people or lots of children. Expect to walk several hundred feet to the water. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table with…

Great Noat In Camping

Went out on a busy Saturday and while I was worried there would be no first come first serve, I found one at the second cove I looked at. Nice to have bathrooms, although you may want to bring extra to, and decent space between you and the next campsite. When choosing a site remember sunrise and…

Holiday camping

Happy to find campground mostly empty on holiday weekend. Only needed a place to stay overnight. Water spigots but no water. Campsites had no numbers. Quiet, green, remote.
