Fishing and swimming in the Methow River are the main draws at this BLM site just outside Pateros City Park along the highway corridor toward North Cascades National Park. It's a gravel and dirt parking lot. The ground is hard-packed and rocky, making tent stakes difficult to set, so the site works better for vehicle-based sleeping. A vault toilet is on-site, trash service is available, and cell service is generally functional. Bring a vehicle with good clearance, as road access is unpaved, and expect highway noise through the night.
