Nice Enough

Stopped here after dark after a long day of driving to catch some zzzz’s. Drove in and parked but drove off b/c we noticed a parked car idling about 25’ away w/ the hose from a gas station still connected…seemed kinda sketchy. We ended up coming back b/c there wasn’t much else nearby. The gas-hose car drove off about 30 mins after we parked (the 2nd time). There was a 5th wheel (no vehicle nearby??) that seemed to be more long term resident than one-nite-visitor. Lot’s of vehicles coming and going. Bathroom had an unhoused gentleman sleeping on the floor w/ another standing guard (?) outside the door. We would stop here again if we had to but would prefer another, less busy stop.

Just over the Washington border

Quick night sleep if you’re trying to visit Astoria. Bathrooms seem clean, there’s a little Lewis and Clark Trail behind. Picnic tables and pet area.
