Description
Deception CreekSmall 1.3 acre lake located 4 miles east of Ione, WA. Year-round fishing available. Water levels fluctuate and during low water years the lake cannot support fish. When water levels allow, the lake is stocked with rainbow trout. Access is hike-in along NFS 1933160 for approximately 1/4 mile, then follow a user created trail for another 1/2 mile to the lake. Scenery is beautiful. Shoreline access is good.

From Ione, WA : Head south on WA-31 S/S 2nd Ave/International Selkirk Loop S for 0.9 miles. Turn left onto Elizabeth Ave/Sullivan Lake Rd continue to follow Sullivan Lake Rd for 0.4 miles. Turn left to stay on Sullivan Lake Rd continue for 4.2 miles. Turn right onto Paupac Rd continue for 0.5 miles. Slight right onto A/Dry Canyon Rd/Paupac Rd continue for 1.9 miles.
