Recent updates have transformed Mill Pond Campground into a well-maintained destination with paved roads and level gravel parking pads. Located within Colville National Forest near Metaline Falls, this Forest Service campground operates from Memorial Day through Labor Day and accommodates RVs up to 20 feet. Sites sit slightly back from the creek that flows through the area, though water access remains available. The campground includes standard amenities like restrooms, picnic tables, and fire rings, with pets welcome throughout.
Despite quality facilities, Mill Pond sees lighter use than campgrounds just outside Metaline Falls, creating opportunities for quieter stays even during busy holiday weekends. The open terrain provides straightforward site selection, while nearby Sullivan Lake area campgrounds like West Sullivan and East Sullivan offer additional options within walking distance.
