Oasis in the dry

We stopped here because it appeared to be one of the only shading places in the area. This park is full of trees, while the island and surrounding area is dry and barren. The price for full hook ups was only $40. The wind whips in this area, but the trees provide shade and a wind block. There is a nice marina, boat launch and kids park area. There were lots of rigs with boats there.

Fun, clean and wonderful for families

First time there. Will definitely be back. The outer even numbers for the trailers are in my opinion the better choice as they can be a bit quieter than the middle. The kids loved the playground, the bike trails and the frogs. Very calm water for kayak or paddle board practice!

A beautiful campground

The grand kid loved the playground and trails, the kids liked the campsite and we loved how clean and well maintained everything is. There is a train track nearby that is very busy day and night. The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful.
