ALERT: All USFS Campgrounds in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest are now under a STAGE TWO FIRE BAN as of July 2, 2025.** No camp fires or open flame cooking with wood, charcoal, or wood pellet! The exception is that propane gas can be used as long as it has an on/off switch. No smoking out in the open, must be done either in your vehicle or within a building! Still no smoking in the restrooms! Fireworks are prohibited! Please use caution due to the dryness of our forests. Thank you!**

Overview

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service.

Facilities

This campground is located along the Chiwawa River, 21 miles from Fish Lake. 8 campsites are located in a valley floor. Sites are occupied on a first come first served basis.

Smaller sites but more privacy!

Nice, clean, smaller campsites with plenty of privacy between you and your neighbors. No shower. There's a toilet right smack in the middle of the campground loop. Only a couple waterfront sites so reserve online or come early.
