Mountain Quiet Campground

We love this area already so as first time RVers, Meadows of Dan Campground was a natural pick. This campground has lovely tree cover in both the RV and tent camping areas. There are also cabins. The manager is very friendly & accommodating. We loved our first week so much we stayed two more!

Starlink-friendly site + great amenities — highly recommend

We arrived without a reservation and were warmly welcomed by the host, who let us pick any available site. We needed a clear sky to the NNE for Starlink, and found the perfect spot— technically an RV site, but it worked great for our tent for one night. It was right on the forest's edge with a nice open view to the north. 

The bathrooms and showers were excellent, and a washer and dryer was available— a great bonus.

 Recommend this campground, especially if you need Starlink access or just a peaceful, well-equipped place to stay.

Nice place

No trees for the pull throughs but still a nice place and right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway
