Manns Campground - Ashley National Forest

Mann's Campground offers basic amenities for campers. The campground features clean vault toilets and trash dumpsters for waste disposal. While there are spacious sites that can accommodate RVs and trailers, it's important to note that there is NO water available on-site despite what some forest service maps might indicate. The campground provides open, sunny spots which are ideal for campers using solar power. Cell service is not available at the campground, though Starlink has been reported to work well for those needing connectivity.

Mann's Campground operates on a first-come, first-served (FCFS) basis only. No advance reservations are accepted for any of the 9 available campsites. To secure a spot, you'll need to arrive early, especially during peak camping seasons or weekends. The campground is one of four along Sheep Creek going into Flaming Gorge lake. Mann's Campground charges $15 per night for standard camping fees. Seniors with applicable passes can enjoy a discounted rate of $7.50 per night. The campground is relatively affordable compared to many developed campgrounds in national forests. Payment is typically collected on-site, so be prepared with the exact amount. The town of Manila is just a couple of minutes away, where visitors can find additional services including a store, gas station, and an RV dump station if needed.
