Corrals at each site set this free dispersed area apart from most Wasatch National Forest camps. Situated just past the Lower Provo River Campground turnoff on Mirror Lake Highway, it draws campers traveling with horses or pack animals. Sites are primitive, with only a fire ring and corral at each. Some sites sit close to the road; others are set farther back. Campers wanting developed facilities nearby can look at Uinta National Forest Ponderosa Group Campground to the south.
