Sitting at elevation in the Pine Valley Mountains within Dixie National Forest, this US Forest Service campground runs from mid-May through late September and caters specifically to equestrian visitors alongside traditional tent and RV campers. The campground sits close to both a stream and a lake, and the surrounding forest provides enough tree cover to keep temperatures noticeably cooler than the lowland valleys nearby.
