Cub River Lodge & RV Park, LLC

Up Cub River Canyon, this private RV park sits among forested terrain with access to both open areas and water features. The facility accommodates RVs up to 65 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections, plus amenities like showers, WiFi, and a dump station.

Sites cluster closely together, which works well for groups traveling together but may feel tight for those expecting more space between neighbors. The property includes a central grass area where children can play, and owners greet arriving campers personally. However, direct river access proves limited due to surrounding private properties and roads that restrict movement beyond the immediate camping area.

"The drive up to the lodge and rv park is amazing," notes kim T.. Cell service remains spotty throughout the canyon, though the park provides WiFi that can struggle during busy periods. Several other camping options exist in the area, including Albert Moser less than a mile away and Cub River Guard Station further up the canyon.

The canyon road can be rough in places, so plan accordingly for the drive up from the valley floor.

The Cub River, Preston Idaho

A special friend has built a cabin right on the river. I have been so blessed to have shared fun times on razor rides on all the many trails up the Mountainside. There is the Deer Cliff Lodge and plenty of campsites all up the Cub river.

Quick Stop

This RV park would be good for a few RV friends to make reservations and stay as the sites are really close. From the pictures I saw, it appeared as if there was space between sites which was not the case. The owners were very nice and greeted us upon arrival. There is no access to the river as the campground is nestled in-between private roads, houses, private property, etc. There is no cell service here but the do offer Wi-Fi. Not sure if it was due to the amount of people, but the wifi was useless as we couldn't even make a phone call (not video call). There is a center grass location that's great for kids to play. For the price and experience I thought 2 stars but due to their hospitality I bumped it up one. Just not our ideal campground location but it could be exactly what your looking for.
