3/24/2020 During COVID-19 this campground will remain closed until further notice. Hunters Campground is part of a larger recreation complex with a boat launch and Day Use Area. Campsites are tucked among the pines in a centrally-located loop with an easy walk to the beach area. Group sites offer privacy and beach access for larger parties. Hunters Campground is very popular and often busy in the summer.
ADA Access: Campground roads and campsite parking spaces are paved. Campsite areas, such as picnic tables and fire pits, are unpaved and may be uneven. Site 3 is a designated ADA campsite. Restrooms have sidewalk pathways from the road.
Beautiful views of Lake Roosevelt and the surrounding mountains and trees Boat launch available to get out and do some fishing. Catch Walleye and Rainbows
Unreserved sites, 37. There r 3 group sites that can be reserved. Swim beach for everyone, shelter for functions. This campground is is very well maintained by the workers of the National Park System. Come on out and enjoy!!
last time we went the beach was all silt and rocks… but enjoyed it as far as location and views of the river…
Easy to find a spot to camp with multiple docks to keep your boat. It also has a swimming area, fish cleaning station with running water to clean your fish.
