Reservations are available at this municipal RV campground in Baton Rouge, with nightly rates running $35 to $44 for sites with electric, water, and sewer hookups and rigs up to 60 feet accommodated. The campground sits adjacent to the BREC Farr Park equestrian center, so horses grazing in nearby paddocks are a regular part of the backdrop. Spaces are grass with gravel driveways, and reviewers note the grounds are regularly mowed and well maintained. Cell signal has been reliable enough for streaming, and the bathhouse includes four showers on the women's side along with clean restrooms.
The levee trail is the main draw for active campers. A paved bike path runs along the Mississippi River levee directly from the campground, with routes heading south past L'Auberge casino and north toward the state capitol building in downtown Baton Rouge. The path sees regular foot and bike traffic. Campers also report the trail connects to Tiger's Trail RV Resort territory to the southeast, making it a useful reference point for riders mapping longer routes.
Shade is limited. Row E gets the best afternoon shade according to at least one reviewer, while sites in Row B have little cover. The campground fills noticeably on LSU football weekends, when a shuttle to the stadium runs from the park, but stays quieter during off-peak visits. Susan R. describes it as "spots are spacious and not crowded so you can spread out." Staff responsiveness has been inconsistent across reviews, so confirming check-in logistics by phone before arrival is worth the extra step.
