Carrie Creek Campground

Water access draws visitors to Carrie Creek Campground, where a creek runs nearby providing both scenery and potential fishing opportunities. The Forest Service facility operates without developed amenities, creating a more primitive camping experience in the Sawtooth National Forest. Road conditions can become challenging during poor weather, requiring careful planning for arrival and departure times.

Cattle may graze in the area at certain times of year, adding to the working landscape character. Campers seeking more developed facilities might consider Little Smoky Campground located a few miles west, which offers additional amenities for those preferring more structured camping options.
