Small and diverse

Camp host was very helpful. Half of the campground has intimate sites, other half is off of large parking lot. Day use potential for free.

Nice and quiet

Spent 4 days here in late May. Great campground host and nice and quiet place. Only drawback was the parking was along a large gravel lot which could get busy and dusty during the day

Beautiful views and great host!

The campsite was empty because of the nearby forest fires, we stayed a couple of nights and only was affected by the smoke one nIght because of the change in the wInd dIrection. The sites have a fIre rIng and are kept very neat, the bathrooms didn’t have showers but were very clean, we had a great view of the lake and if the water level wasn’t so low we could have launch our paddleboards from the campsite. We slept on our hammocks and there was plenty of trees and shade. We will definitely come back!

SUP and camp close to Durango

Our sites shared the parking lot with the boat ramp. Even though it was busy on the weekend we loved it. Plenty of shade, beautiful views, and we could launch our kayak and SUP from our site. Also there's excellent hiking close by. The camp host is a tough old bird but very nice. No dump station but you can dump for free at the Visitor Center in town.
