Get away from the heat

Beautiful scene of snow capped mountain with lake. Crowded, we got the last spot at 6pm. Campsites are very close to each other. No water or power. Woke up to 30° windy weather. Very close to marina and another primitive campground almost walking distance.

High traffic Busy campground

Pine City sits right on the lake Mary loop Road. The campground and lake are separated by a high traffic road. The campground was very hot in the middle of the day. Seems the place to spend the day is down by the lake in the shade. With the constant traffic from the road this campsite was very noisy and just a constant flow of traffic. If your looking for a more quiet campground i would look up the road at coldwater campground or Lake George. Unless you're in an RV and just there to enjoy the lake access I would suggest another site. There are several in the lake basin that aren't as busy.
