Traveling Tiger Center — I-10 Exit 87

Description

Traveling Tiger Center is an independent full-service truck stop at I-10 Exit 87 in Hudspeth County, roughly 60 miles east of El Paso. Overnight parking is permitted in the very large dirt and gravel lot — confirmed as recently as December 2025 — and the staff is welcoming; it's a good idea to check in with the cashier when you arrive. Restrooms, a 24/7 convenience store, a restaurant serving Mexican food, showers, and coin-operated laundry (quarters only) are all on site, and limited WiFi is available with the password from the cashier. Caution: debris along the lot edges has caused tire punctures for at least one visitor, and the unpaved surface can become muddy in rain.
