Military Park Kingsville Naval Air Station Rocking K RV Park

With full hookups and year-round availability, this military-operated RV park serves active duty personnel, veterans, and their families at Naval Air Station Kingsville. Sites feature electric, water, and sewer connections positioned on the door side of RVs, creating a backwards layout that requires adjustment during setup.

The park houses numerous full-time military and government employees, contributing to a consistently occupied atmosphere. Aircraft noise occurs when winds shift from the north, placing the campground under the flight path's downwind leg. Reservations are available, and pets are welcome. Plans for a new park facility are currently in development, though timing remains unspecified.

Building a new campground

Lots of full time military/GS/maintenance employees. Sites are backwards with all hookups on door side. Occasionally loud with jet noise when winds are from the N (underneath the downwind). New park is currently in the planning phase.
