Wonderful Experience

We have really enjoyed our time here at Texan RV Park while attending the RV Fundamentals Course at the NRVTA. The manager, Betty made herself available to assist with any problem 24/7. The park itself is immaculate. There are 2 ponds, cabins, a clubhouse laundry, beautiful showers. There are food trucks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Activities nearly everyday. Everyone that stays here is attending a class, so everyone visits with each other. I really really like it here.

Great place to stay while attending NRVTA

This place is an excellent place to stay while learning how to be an RV technician or inspector because the park is filled with students, teachers, and TA's who are all willing to share their experience and wisdom. Many students stayed in campgrounds only 15 minutes away, but missed out on a big part of The learning experience. I'm so grateful that I paid a little bit more to stay here than I could have paid in other parks. The experience and learning that took place in the park was a huge advantage. I was able to work on my rig here and have assistance from other students and teachers as well as mobile techs working in the field

Nice park associated with the NRVTA. Awesome RV tech school.

If you're full timing, like me, you should, at a minimum take the NRVTAs basic class. I have taken all of their technical classes. 1. AC 2. Absorption friges 3. Water heater/furnaces 4. Slides and levelers 5. Solar systems install 6. Generator maintenance. And the next 2 weeks I'm taking the inspector course. Awesome school

Convenient for class

We spent 5 weeks here for my husband to attend the the Tech classes. The staff was beyond wonderful. The main reason I didn't give it five stars was because it was very expensive to camp here. A couple other reasons were the lack of amenities. They didnt even have a swing set for the kids. On the plus side the pull thru spot we had was very spacious so the kids had room to play by our camper.

A work in progress

We stayed Memorial Day weekend 2021 and there was alot of activity the first couple of days. They were in the progress of putting in new pads and adding more "tiny homes". It seems the campground caters mainly towards their students and staff as there is an rv tech training school here. We happened to land just as there was a new class coming in afyer the holidays. The sites are gravel and close together with a small concrete pad and picnic table next to each pad.
