Reservations are available at North Park Campground, which sits on open terrain near a lake within Fort Richardson State Park Hist. Site and Trailway, about 1.9 miles from camping near Jacksboro. Sites run $25 per night and include full hookups with electric, water, and sewer connections, plus showers, picnic tables, and a dump station. Access has been flagged as rough, so drivers with low-clearance vehicles should plan accordingly. At least one reviewer noted deer along the trail. Pets are allowed, and hikers, swimmers, and equestrians all have dedicated trail access on site.

The Park does not have gates. Office Days/Hours are: Sunday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-9pm, Saturday 8am-8pm.
FISHING:
Fishing available in the main park, with a swimming beach and fishing pier located at the North Park, located 3 miles away on Lake Jacksboro.
TOUR INFORMATION:
Tours are free of charge with park entrance.
We offer guided tours Tuesday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 pm, The historic buildings are open for self-guided tours on the weekends from 10am to 4pm.
