Very cute fairly well maintained

It took some real work to find the campground. Look for the old sign and follow it. There are at least 30 sites it's Water and Electric and at this point there are a long ways from the water but they're nice flat concrete table water it's cute good place to stop for a night.

Decent stop/or maybe party for the weekend

It’s not marked well, but the directions get you here. When you pull off the road go to the right, there’s a hundred year old sign. It looks like there are some remote sites to the left and straight ahead. I’m here mid week and couldn’t find anywhere to pay, so free is good, just in for the night. I’m sure it’s packed on the weekends. All the stuff the other guy said is true. I’m drinking beer by the fire while traveling, so I’m all good with this spot. Would’ve happily paid $30 or so.

Nice small lake

Fishing wasn’t bad, boat ramp was never crowded. There’s a nice playground and sandy beach swim area for the little ones. Shade is there but not on all sites, good luck there. Fairly cheap, was a bit confusing to pay for our spot though.
