East Bluff #1 Campground sits on the south shore of Lake McClellan, part of McClellan Creek National Grassland in the Texas Panhandle. All five sites front the lake directly. The ground slopes toward the water at most sites, making the campground better suited to RVs than tents; sites at either end of the loop are somewhat flatter. Each site has at least one picnic table and a metal fire ring, with two sites offering a second table. A double vault toilet sits at the west end, and a dumpster is available in the parking area. No water is on-site, so campers should arrive prepared or fill up at Lake Mcclellan Campground or McDowell Campground across the lake. No pets are allowed. The fee is $10 per night. Signage from the highway is limited after the interstate exit, so navigation requires attention once inside the grassland.
