The rough road to Grapevine Hills 2 & 3 filters out some visitors, creating a quieter camping experience within Big Bend National Park. These drive-in sites accommodate RVs up to 30 feet and include bear boxes for food storage. Samuel W. noted the road conditions as "kind of rough and not the most comfortable but not terrible," while AT&T users can expect three bars of cell service according to recent campers.
The National Park Service manages these $10 sites with campfire and pet privileges. Reservations help secure a spot at this backcountry-style campground where the views extend across desert landscapes. Plan to bring extra supplies since the nearest resupply point lies over 20 miles away in Terlingua.
