Canoe Launch sits at the southern end of Mineola Nature Preserve on the Sabine River, a city-managed preserve in East Texas, and reaching it requires arriving by boat or on foot. No road access exists. At $5 per night with reservations available, the site is one of several primitive campgrounds spread across the preserve. Paddlers on the Sabine River or hikers coming in on trail can consider Peacock Pond - Mineola Nature Preserve Campground D as a nearby alternative, roughly 1.2 miles north.
