Four Stars For Now

This is a new campground that is just getting up and running. The sites are all large and shaded with a picnic table and a fire pit. Our site was also a full hookup site as was the site of our friends that also came with us. They have a camp store and a laundry mat and a couple of small hiking trails. There are several other amenities coming. The only con is they will move you. I don’t care if you picked that spot out for a specific reason (as I did) when booking, it likely won’t be your spot when you check in. I find that annoying, but that’s literally the only con. The staff was nice, park clean, and shaded sites. I did not go to the restrooms (if they even have any) to tell you how those are.

Thank you for your amazing review and awesome pictures! As for the moving spots, we do let people know before booking online that it is a possibility. I hate that we have to do that sometimes, but it's because of the influx of long term guests that come in and see the spot empty and want to make that their new home. That's what happened to your initial site (site 51) so we had to move you to 14, which is a much more spacious spot with more shade. We only have 35 sites, so we don't have the ability to leave a spot open when the daily stay is so far out in the future, it would sit empty otherwise- We do really try to emphasize that at the time of booking and as I said we definitely avoid it if we can. All but one of the spots you saw during your visit was long-term folks, weve had a TON come in since May. Your review has been helpful and given me alot to consider now that we are so full. It's our first year so we are learning. Hope to have you back in the future when we have more spots and availability!
