Nice overnighter

Right n the edge of town. All pull throughs with FHU.  Did not use the facilities. About 2/3 of the campground were permanent residents. We felt safe.  It is located at the end of a runway but there were minimal traffic. Verizon poor, wifi non-existent. Moderate noise from I40.  Great for an overnighter.  My kind of campground.  Put $34 in an envelope on go pick your spot.

Nice overnight park

When we drove up it was unclear where to inquire for a spot. No one stays in office. It's on the honor system. Drop a envelope with payment on slot on office door and pick a spot. It was clean and quiet. Nice spot to park overnight while traveling.

Nice Overnight Stop On Outskirts Of Town

Nice overnight stop for the price. There were longhorn cows and llamas that came up to the fence in the back of the park. Close to town yet in the country. Full-time residents there but are quiet.

Easy access, close to highway

While traveling west on the i40 our stop was to be in Amarillo. We just wanted a place to stay to hook up for the night for showers. The owner was able to be reached late in the evening to notify that we were stopping in. It’s a first come first serve place. There were a few spots available when we pulled in. If you’re just looking for an overnight spot this is decent. Plenty of space to drive through.

Nice fairly level sites with hookups.

Is a fairly calm little camping area or RV park actually and it has water hookups both 50 30 and looks like 20 amp power hookups and sewer hookups. There are no other amenities. There is a vending machine but that's just I think for soda. Fairly quiet at night. Not a whole lot of noise except for that of the freeway.

Convenient

This is second time we’ve stayed here. It’s convenient to I-40 and therefore you can hear the road noise. There are no amenities but you’re not being charged for them. We paid $17 a night with passport America. We will stay here next time we pass thru Amarillo

Dumpy

Lot is okay, long pull through and some trees. Looks very poor. Can hear hwy traffic and thought a plane was going to crash in to us it was so low. The office looks like it is an OLD, run down KOA building, but it is actually behind the Title Max office. There used to be a pool which is filled with weeds now. Looks like most of the campers are long term.

Quiet park and no nonsense

This park was very convenient during my road trip from TX to CO. I used my Passport America membership and only paid $17 for a single night for full hook-ups. It was super quiet. If you go there expecting to pay a low price and no nonsense then this park is right for you. If you plan on it being a super luxurious park with a lot of amenities then you'll be sorely disappointed.

Well worth the price!

Only $14. for a full hook up site. Very nice man assisted us to our site which was gravel dirt and grassy area. Surrounded by fields with long horns, llamas, and donkeys. The sounds of the highway weren’t too bad and if you shut your windows you hardly heard it. We felt very safe here. There are no bathrooms or WiFi. Still perfect for a quick overnight stay.

Quiet park and inexpensive

This is a quiet park with easy on/off access to I-40. They honor passport America which brings the price to $14 for full hookups. There are no amenities so this is really for getting a good nights rest after a long day on the road. Plus it’s only 6 miles to The Big Texan restaurant and 15 miles to Cadillac Ranch.
