Although we were towing while having to stop here, Gary made it worth it to have to disconnect for the night. He answered a late night phone call, knew exactly where we were when trying to look for a spot for the night, sent us directions and met us at our spot to get us all set up. There are only a few pull through spots and the rest back in. It was a perfect little spot close enough to the highway but far enough not to even see it. Overall a very nice spot for an overnight stay.
While traveling west on the i40 our stop was to be in Amarillo. We just wanted a place to stay to hook up for the night for showers. The owner was able to be reached late in the evening to notify that we were stopping in. It’s a first come first serve place. There were a few spots available when we pulled in. If you’re just looking for an overnight spot this is decent. Plenty of space to drive through.
While visiting family in Scottsville we were in need of a close by RV park for our 40’ rig. This was the perfect spot for us. With plenty of pull through sites we were able to pick from (since we came early due to forgetting the time change!) The park is very well maintained, the owner was very accommodating and helpful, especially since we had to add an extra night last minute! There is a beautiful pool, playground and basketball court for kids! The place is also pet friendly. There was a cute area inside with a TV, dvds, and books to read or take one and leave one. Also a laundry area inside. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area! It’s also fairly close to Nashville and bowling green!
We were in town for the WE rock event going on and needed a place to stay. We were able to get a perfect spot for us that was only 15 minutes from the event. Not only were we accommodated but we were shown our options on the property and directed where to go. The campground is absolutely clean, beautiful and well maintained. The owner also sat and talked with us about all the hidden areas to check out that were local! We are a 40’ rig with a tow behind and we had plenty of space! If we are passing through we would absolutely stay again!
