Graceland RV Park & Campground
A Great Place to Stay for the Full Memphis Experience
We really enjoyed our stay at Graceland RV Park and Campground. If you’re coming to Memphis to visit Graceland, it’s hard to beat the location. Being so close made everything easy and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the whole experience without rushing.
The Graceland Mansion tour was fantastic. Even if you’ve seen it countless times on TV, actually walking through Elvis’s home and seeing the rooms for yourself is something completely different. There’s so much history there, and it really gives you a sense of the man behind the legend.
We were equally impressed with the museums and exhibits. There is far more to see than we expected, from Elvis’s cars and stage outfits to memorabilia and displays covering his incredible career. Give yourself a good 3–4 hours at a minimum to see everything properly. You could easily spend longer if you’re a big Elvis fan.
While we were in Memphis, we also made the trip downtown to Beale Street, and we’re glad we did. It’s exactly the kind of place you picture when you think of Memphis — live music coming from the bars, plenty of restaurants, lots of places to grab a drink and a great atmosphere as you walk along the street. It made for a brilliant evening after spending the day at Graceland.
For us, staying at Graceland RV Park, touring the mansion and museums, and then experiencing the music, bars and restaurants of Beale Street made for a memorable Memphis visit.
We’d happily stay here again. If you’re traveling by RV and Graceland is on your bucket list, this is a great place to make your base.

Warning to Blue Oval Families& Traveling Workers– AVOID Serendipity RV Park
We were long-term tenants at Serendipity RV Park for over two years, paying$950/month. My husband works for Blue Oval, and we want to warn others: this park does not respect or value loyal tenants. On July 8, 2025, a Serendipity employee ran a mower into our RV, damaging our slide-out. Instead of taking responsibility, they brought in Ralph’s Mobile RV Repair—a contractor who showed up without notice and“repaired” it using silicone instead of 2 sided adhesive, it look horrible, he smearing silicone everywhere, and bent up parts of the trim that had not even were not even originally damaged. We documented everything, expressed our concerns immediately. Ralph returned later, didn’t even remove the old silicone, and caked more on top. When we pushed back, he became aggressive and confrontational—at one point suggesting he could“meet” my husband somewhere. Serendipity never inspected the work. Edward, who’s on-site daily, never once came to speak to us. Instead, we got a dismissive text saying they were“satisfied” with the work and that we should“file it on our insurance.” The damage was caused by their own employee—yet they refuse to make it right. On top of that:• They’ve overcharged our card multiple occasions and add illegal card processing fees.• in addition to the$950/monthly space rent, they have installed meters to charge electric ON TOP of the$950(they want MORE money but do not even maintain our lawns properly)• The park is poorly maintained. Grass gets a foot tall before it’s mowed, and employees recklessly use riding mowers near RVs. We were respectful, always paid on time, and expected to be treated fairly. Instead, we’ve dealt with poor repairs, price gouging, and total disregard. If you’re a Blue Oval worker or traveling family, do yourself a favor—avoid Serendipity and Ralph’s RV Repair. You deserve better.

Trashy, unkept, rude staff, overpriced, no respect for guests
My husband and I have always loved Serendipity and looked forward to visiting for the last several years. That has definitely changed with the latest owners. The girls in the office have smart mouths and zero customer service skills. The grounds look awful, grown up grass everywhere. It appears they only mow about 25%. Food is poor and overpriced. Ron and Daphne are truly missed. There is no personality to Serendipity anymore. It used to be a nice resort style rv park now it ranks as bottom of the barrel. Just sad.

Memphis KOA
Great place to stay as you transit the Memphis area
We spent the night while driving north past Memphis. The staff was super helpful. Our site (and the whole campground) was covered in snow and in was cold. Other that that, we had a great experience.
4 stars because it is next to an interstate highway so there is inevitable noise and not much interesting in the way of scenery. Other than that, this is a 5 star place.
We will definitely stay here again.

different, in a good way
I enjoyed my 3 nights. I had a great view of a pond and a row of A-frames but the sites on my passenger (viewing) side were not occupied or I would have been billboarded. The sites are very close together but the season is apparently over. Very little traffic even on thanksgiving. The roads are narrow and the trees get close. Th signage could be better but the host left me a text when I arrived and found me while I was waiting outside the office. Very quiet, no road noise or trains or planes. Just a little longer drive off the main highway

Once a Nice Property-Not Any More
In the past year the property management and service has seriously declined. As a result of neglect the initial sites to which the management directed me were not functioning properly. I tried three sites and each either had not electricity or no water. The gravel to and from each site had grown over and the office was non-responsive to my efforts for help. As a result of the poor state of repair, I hit an impediment with my RV sewage connection. The result was at least$500 of damage. Until more attention is paid to the upkeep of this potential good property, I would recommend that you not use this location.

Traveling with kids
It’s a city RV park, what do we really expect? It’s not camping for sure. Traveling from California with kids who have been at the mercy of cross-country RV parks- this was a reprieve for them, pool, bikes, playgrounds. We’ve paid $100 a night for less. Clean, cute, easy access, not sketchy. Noise, sure, but nothing a fan or AC could drown out. Airplanes every few hours, traffic from a nearby highway. Site 44 happens to be the only one without a tree for shade though, so unless you like hot sun- book another one.

Served its purpose
Ok campground that served its purpose. No frills, parking-lot style campground. Neighborhood around the park and Graceland is pretty run down. Worked well for visiting Graceland, which was very interesting and worthwhile. We also visited the Rock & Soul museum and the Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel where Dr King was assassinated. Both were very informative. Beale street was packed with tourists.
