Bean Pot Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Swimming, laundry, bingo nights, and the occasional bluegrass festival give Bean Pot Campground a fuller activity calendar than most drive-in RV parks in the area. Located in Crossville, Tennessee, the campground runs full hookups with electric, water, and sewer connections alongside WiFi, making it a functional base for longer stays or overnight stops on a road trip through the Cumberland Plateau.

Sites are pull-through and come with picnic tables and fire rings. The grounds sit among trees, and the layout skews heavily toward RVs and campers rather than tents. A small pond and a swimming pool are both on-site. Tent campers occasionally show up, but reviewers note they are rarely the only ones without an RV, which can actually work in their favor during busy weekends. Staff consistently draw praise across multiple reviews for being attentive and hands-on during check-in.

Bathrooms and showers receive repeated mention for cleanliness and hot water. A dog-walking area and playground round out the facilities. Noise from neighboring sites has come up in at least one review, so campers sensitive to that may want to request a site away from family clusters. Those planning a longer stay can also look at Spring Lake RV Resort or Sleepy Bear RV Park for comparison, as several campgrounds operate within a few miles. Rates run $30 to $45 per night, with reservations available. Pets are welcome.

Very happy we stayed here!

We were either planning on staying in a motel or the bean pot and we were so glad we stayed in the bean pot. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful, and the showers, bathrooms, and laundry room were super clean and well kept. No other tent campers were there during our stay, since it’s mainly an rv camp, so this is a great place to try if you’re looking for a last minute place to tent camp. Overall, I would stay here again and I would recommend the bean pot to anyone looking for a place to camp in the area.

a happy bean

really enjoyed my time at the bean pot. check in was easy, and the campsites were all pull through. comes with picnic tables and a fire ring. the staff was super friendly. we ran out of paper towel, (which they don’t sell at the camp store), but they were kind enough to sell us one of there own personal rolls. had a cute little area for walking dogs, a pool, a place to do laundry, and the bathrooms were well kept. the only downside— which to me is less on the campground and more on the parents— was our neighbors were really loud. had a family with kids (a maybe 2-3 year old) that ran around, and would they would have to yell at for leaving their site. overall, would happily come back.

Quick over nighter

We were passing through and only stayed one night (3pm to 6am), not enough time for a full evaluation. People are friendly and helpful

Quiet and friendly campground

It’s a nice campground mainly for campers and RVs in between trees. Our host greeted us very warmly and explained everything to us in detail. There is a pool to use as well and a nice big playground for the kids too. Very nice place to relax! Enjoyed our stay here a lot.
