You’ll discover this Walmart Supercenter about 4-5 minutes after you exit I95 heading eastbound towards Hilton Head Island in the small drive-by town of Hardeeville just off Route 278. This Walmart is in fairly good-to-great condition and offers up a medium-sized patch of pavement that has very ample space – in fact, in terms of size, this parking lot feels a bit overkill given the fairly rural environ you’ll find yourself in – which is only good news for you as it should be EZ finding available parking here. Add to this the great lighting, again, coupled with being out in the boondocks, but the nearest slice of civilization is fairly well-heeled and all this combined means that you should rest very comfortably at night feeling safe and secure. Inside this Walmart you’ll find just about everything you need to stock up on for your onward journey, but if not, there’s also a Publix, Dollar Tree, Ace and CVS located just a stone’s throw from here in this same shopping complex in addition to a Circle K gas station in the event that you needed to fuel up. Within walking distance, you’ll find a Subway, China Kitchen, Rio Chico, Sumo Sushi and Tropical Smoothie. As for the parking accommodations, IMHO the best area is located closest to Independence Boulevard on the southwestern perimeter where there’s also a decent tree line that will provide some additional privacy from the nearby roadway as well as shade offering respite from a blazing hot sun.
