About Lick Fork Lake Recreation Area

Highlights include an accessible fishing pier and a boat ramp for non-motorized boats. The Lick Fork Lake Hiking Trail is an easy two mile loop surrounding the lake that provides scenic view of piedmont pines and hardwoods. Directions
From the square in downtown Edgefield, travel south on Hwy 23 for 8.3 miles. Bear left onto Hwy 230 and travel for .4 miles. Turn left onto Lick Fork Lake Road (S 19-263), and travel 1.9 miles. Entrance is on right.

Old standby

It's a really good beginners intro to primitive camping. Nice little hike around a nice little lake. Pretty simple. No wifi or electric.

nice place to boondock. was able to get my 36 ft 5th wheel into site 1 with no problem. some other sites would have fit us but were occupied. nice little lake to fish and some short trails. nice and quite. no water or electricity on the sites
