Good campsite with all the features

This was a good campsite with excellent cell and wifi. Each campsite has water/sink, electric (2-110v and 2-220v), table and fire ring but no shade anywhere, none, and it gets hot until 7pm or so. Some campsites like 5, 8 and 10 are very level but others less so. The showers and toilets are centrally located and well maintained. Firewood was at the site and also available for purchase at $1 per stick on the honor system ie Venmo, Paypal etc. Sites 8,9,10 while closer together than I prefer (but not like at a National Park eg Rio Grande in Big Bend) have an excellent unobstructed dawn view

An excellent campsie

This was a very nice campsites with distance between campsites. Each campsite had a covered table, lantern hanger, fire ring and convenient bathrooms. No water so bring your own and no cell service but the amazing night sky and spectacular drive from Presidio made up for it. We had site 16 in the back but the site had a lot of rocks so be aware

Nice spot would return for sure

I was passing thru SC on the SCAR headed down to the Palmetto Rally and stopped here to camp. It was a very nice campground with level pads, picnic table and fire ring (bring your own wood). As well there were several vault toilets and there was even a water faucet. It was a good campground and I would stay here again. It is not reservable so first come first served. There was some cell coverage as well. I tent camped so can not comment on RV as the others in the campground were tent camping as well.

Beautiful and desolate

This was a beautiful and desolate campground looking out in the valley below and Shoshone about 35 miles in the other direction. I saw two sites, both with fire ring and picnic tables with a vault toilet nearby. If there are other organized campsites I am not aware as did not go down the dirt road. Not a “camper friendly” site but 4x4 and motorcycles are easy. There was no cell signal and given this site is in CA, a campfire permit is required. The permit can be obtained at a BLM or online after watching a two minute video and taking an eight question quiz.

A good spot

This is a great spot in the river. Picnic tables, fire ring, pit toilet and all you hear is the river at night. No cell service and its first come first served for a spot

Very Good campground

Easy access off Hwy 64, so close to stores for food and firewood. Well maintained campsite with clean bathrooms and very clean, nice showers. Alcohol prohibited as think county is dry. There seems to be an attendant and if so, they do an excellent job maintaining the campsite. This is a popular site and you need to check availability online ahead of time, reserve and book. Low periods are first come first served but check first. Cell coverage very poor with Verizon and non existent with T mobile. Bring ear plugs as highway very close

A great spot!

I have stayed here multiple times and Kelli and Wayne (the owners) never disappoint. Everything about the spot is great and they have pretty much everything you would need (except alcohol as the county is dry, so bring your own). Great location and great food! This is my go to spot when out riding.

Great fun and great folks!

I had seen postings for the Little River Adventure Company over the last few moths and while looking at the map, I realized it was close to the TAT as it dips into AL (Sam's route), which I would be riding soon, so I decided to try it. It was a great spot and I had a great time. The site has everything you could want i.e. a field to camp in close to the bathhouse or secluded riverside sites to get away from it all. I chose the secluded sites next to the river and it was great. The owner, Giorgio, is a off-road bike rider and a super host. This is a great spot and I would stay here again in a second.
