New Green Acres RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting just off Interstate 95 in Walterboro, South Carolina, New Green Acres RV Park functions primarily as a road-trip stopover, the kind of place travelers pull into after a long drive south. All sites are pull-through, and the park accommodates rigs up to 125 feet, with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. Grass and gravel underlie most sites rather than concrete pads, so leveling gear is worth having on hand.

Highway noise is the most consistent theme across reviews. The park sits close enough to I-95 that traffic sound carries into campers even with windows closed, though several reviewers found it tolerable for a night or two. What offsets the road noise somewhat is the tree cover: tall trees shade much of the property and give it a greener feel than a typical highway-adjacent lot. WiFi reaches reliably only near the office, and cell service gets mixed marks, so campers relying on connectivity should plan accordingly.

Amenities include showers, a dump station, and a dog park, with pets welcome throughout. Bathhouse quality varies by location within the park, with the facility near the office drawing the most consistent praise. One reviewer described it as "clean and functional," which tracks with what others report. A pool is on the property but has been noted as out of service for repairs. Cracker Barrel — Walterboro is within walking distance for those who want a meal without moving the rig.

Reservations are available, and the park works best for one or two-night stays rather than extended trips. Campers with especially wide or tall rigs should contact the park directly before booking, as some sites have low-hanging wires overhead.

Campers regularly cited the exceptionally long pull-through sites with full hookups and shade as major highlights. Road noise from I-95 is noticeable but the convenient location and pet amenities make it popular for overnight stays.

Aged park

Extremely convenient to I-95. All long pull-thru sites but some are narrow or have a low hanging wire above. Old RV park with old,low to the ground utilities (no breakers for the electric) and old bath houses. Bathhouse by office was clean and functional. The other one had peeling paint and smelled of sewage. $40 alternative to Cracker Barrel parking lot.

Nice campgrounds

Nice, a bit rustic. Mostly drive through and all very long. FHU, all grass and gravel sites with lots of shade. Has a pool but currently being repaired. Animal friendly, nice dog park.

Huge spots

These spots were huge right next to highway but noise doesn’t bother us. Stayed for a week. Really close to town.

Convenient but noisy

Very convenient location off of I-95 but very noisy even inside your camper. There is no wifi, the laundry doesn't work and the bath houses wouldn't even open with code. For a nightly stay it is good.

Clean, no wifi as advertised

This is just off 95, so it's not quiet. It is green instead of gravel, so that's nice. Lots of trees and all pull thru spaces. Hot showers. Wifi only works right at the office, which is a bummer.

Ideal!

This campground is right off 95 and very easy to access. Loud highway noise, but tolerable. Tall trees everywhere. Very pretty! No rock or concrete pad to park on so be prepared to level your RV. Bathrooms/showers are clean and large. Pleasant staff. We would absolutely stay here again for an overnight as we pass through.

This is a nice park

This park has really really long spaces. It’s great for when towing a long trailer too but be mindful that there is a whole pile of trees. So when making reservations make sure you let them know you need something long but also easily accessible too.

Right off 95

Wow! Amazing CG. Full hookups. All pull through. Easy Easy in and out. Quiet even tho close to I95.
We will be back when we head up from FL. Price very reasonable. Walk to Cracker Barrel.
