Diamond in the rough

Staff is very nice and friendly, but the place is a dump. Muddy , wet small sites. No room outside. Bathrooms should be condemned. Water, electric, sewer worked well. Cable tv static/ no good.

Thousand Trails park

This is a quiet little park. Super close to 95 so if your traveling and belong to Thousand Trails it’s a super easy stop for a night or two.

Day one review.....

Love it. Small and NO highway noise! One of the most level spots on gravel we have had.

Yes the Mini golf putting green is needing some love I do not care. Pool is close and I am fine with that. One bathroom is under remodeling but the other one is clean and has a wall unit to keep the temperature even.

The two walking trails around the lakes are neat.

Full hook up's including cable. If you do not have the female to female cable connection they are available for a dollar at the Registration office.

Barry was very friendly and professional.

Quiet and Forrested with a Great Walking Path

Quick travel night spent here. Super convenient to the interstate but still quiet and feels like it’s out in the woods. The sites are tightly packed but trees give some scenery. Enjoyed our stay!

Overall nice, quiet and quaint

Stayed here for six nights and it was a very quiet campground but not close to anything as grocery store and any shopping about 30 to 40 minutes away.

Extremely unwelcoming upon arrival

I’ve never felt more unwelcome at a campground before than what I did here today at this location. I will be staying a night or two and then looking for other accommodations given the fact I just don’t feel at all is though this location appreciate the business on any level.

Tight & Muddy

We stayed 1 night on our way down to Florida. Very tight and most if not all of the sites had no gravel and they were extremely muddy. Hookups are mounted very low to the ground. Bathrooms are dated but clean. Ok place if you need to overnight and stay close to I-95.

Peaceful, but limited

We enjoyed our walks around the lake with the dog, but there wasn't much more to do. The pool was open, but you had to sign up for a time slot (because of COVID) and there wasn't much nearby to do. We drove into Hilton Head Island from there and enjoyed the day out there. The sites were to tight to enjoy playing outside, and the mini-golf was closed due to COVID.

Serene setting but close sites

We stayed at the Oaks at Point South for 2 weeks.  The sites were a bit close, also, when it rained the byproduct was mud.  However, the sites all had live oaks with spanish moss, there was a large pond(s) with great walking trails and lots of beautiful birds.

The staff was very accomodating.  They accepted packages shipped to you.  Most of the sites were pull thru.  Propane (at a really good price) was available at the KOA just 1 mile away.  T-Mobile cell coverage was great.

Nothing (groceries, etc.) was nearby.  The closest non-convenience store grocery was 12 miles away and the nearest Walmart was 23 miles away.

When running out slides you may need to juggle your rig a bit to clear the trees, as I said earlier, sites are close with big trees.

We would stay here again.
