Located just off of Route 278 and due west of Hilton Head Island, if you are looking for an excellent overnight slice of pavement to ‘drop anchor’ for the night, don’t look any further than this very Sam’s Club, which won’t even require an annual membership. For starters, this place looks brand spanking new, and add to this, the parking lot is in just as good condition as the store itself offering spacious slots on its east perimeter and a massive swath of parking potential on its southern flank, but perhaps the best spot to lay-up is on the western side, which has extra large side parking perfect for RVs (just look at the attached pic) as well as providing greater privacy being furthest removed from the shoppers that flock here.
In reality, this parking lot is so much larger than likely what is justified in this rural, albeit very well-heeled enclave of Blufton and offers incredibly level and stress-free parking. You will take note that apart from the smattering of retail shops, grocery stores and restaurants that are sprinkled in this area, the place is surrounded by a residential area with very thick growth and forests, adding to the ambiance you will be surrounded by.
