Description
We are a secluded 32 acre campground located on the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River. The Cottage is available for rent year round. The cabins and campground are open April 1st - Nov. 30th(weather permitting).
The Cottage has 3 bedrooms(sleeps 9), a bath and a half, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with tv/dvd player. There is no cable or wi-fi. Outside fire pit and gas grill. NO PETS! Bring your own bedding.
There are 4 two room cabins that sleep 5-6 and a three room cabin that sleeps 9. There are no bathrooms in the cabins, however, they are just a short walk to the bathhouse. The two room cabins all have electric, small fridge, coffee pot, microwave and a/c. There is an outside water spigot, firepit and charcoal grill . The three room, Oak Cabin has a kitchen with running water, mid-size fridge, microwave, coffee pot, griddle, dishes and silverware. It has a fire pit and charcoal grill and is located right beside the bathhouse. All cabins are pet friendly. Bring your own bedding.
The 35 primitive, riverfront campsites which are comprised of 25 seasonal sites and 10 overnight sites are stretched along a 1/2 mile stretch of the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River. There currently are no hook ups, but we do have a dump station and allow inverters/generators. Campsites are pet friendly. Most overnight sites are suitable for tents, pop-ups and smaller travel trailers. We do have a pull-thru site that will accomodate a larger travel trailer.
**Please note that due to our entrance off of the township road, at this time we cannot accomodate 5th wheels, large motorhomes or travel trailers over 32'.**
If you are looking to kayak, tube or fish this is a great location. The majority of the campground is on a slow stretch of the river, so you are able to paddle around without a problem. On a normal river flow day, it takes about 30-40 minutes to tube from the back of the campground to the front. There are a couple sets of small rapids towards the back of the campground which seem to be the hotspot for fishing, but we've also seen some pretty nice catches at the front of the campground as well!
If you like to bike or hike, we are just a short drive from the abandoned turnpike tunnels and the 12.6 mile HB&T Rail Trail. The Mid-State Trail goes through Everett and the Buchannon State Forest is also nearby.
We realize that our campground is not for everyone, but if you are looking for a small, quiet, secluded campground, you should check us out! It really is a hidden gem on the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River and we'd love to meet you!

Directions
Depending on how you get your directions, sometimes it tries to send you down a dead end road. If your directions say to turn onto Pharr Road - DO NOT!!! Turn around and continue .7 miles on Woy Bridge Road, then turn left onto Whetstone Road and left again at the dumpster. Continue on this road through the yellow gate into the campground.
