Like being at a 1980’s meth lab in a campground. Pool is unswimmable, accommodations are ramshackle and beyond terrible. Stay was mildly courteous but doesn’t take away from the incredible seedy nature or the campground. Whoever gave it 5 stars must have been visiting the tweakers. We
We love it here!! Even the spaces are a little tight you still get plenty of privacy. This is our 3rd trip and we’ve always been happy!!
Such a friendly campsite but definitely more suited to families with kids. There were a lot of family groups booked in with adjacent sites. Unfortunately we were opposite a site being used as the kitchen area by a group of 5 dads and 12-15 kids, it was very, very loud at 7am!
I did love the…

We camped during Memorial Day weekend and had a blast, even in the rain! The staff were.fantastic and lots of activities to keep us busy. Sites were small so not a ton of privacy. Everything was clean and neat and we felt very comfortable.
I would start with the good if there happened to be any.
I’ll start with pulling into the campground. First of all you have to find your own site as there are no assigned sites available. This had us pulling our 33ft camper around the whole campground until we came across our site we settled for.…
Check-in not organized or reliable. We had one spot booked and it was advertised wrong. We then had to move sites. Stay at the Long Pond location so we tried to go to the playgrounds twice and we were told we couldn’t. This site would not be for a family with young kids.
Beautiful scenery and awesome hike through the Glens and waterfalls. Disappointed in the bathhouse- showers sprayed directly in the face and no hot water. FYI- no cell reception. Fire wood and ice not sold at campground. Ok to buy wood at gas stations in Red Rock before you make your way up the…

The hike in spot is about 5 minutes from the parking spot. Very secluded, price isn't that bad and the staff is friendly.

I booked a single tent spot. The price is wild for how little they give you. You have 0 privacy. Plus the wood is overpriced so bring your own wood.
The boulder field was the highlight of our camping trip. The campground has great playgrounds, several well-marked trails, and functional (if dirty and rustic) restrooms and showers. The visitors center boasts the most modern updates and a truly lovely interactive museum displaying the history and…

Stayed in a tent site. Wooded areas. Private and quiet. Great, challenging hiking trails with over 1000 feet elevation change. Beautiful views!! Lake is well maintained though no lifeguard was present. Bathrooms were cleaner during the morning hours as this state park gets VERY busy.
I was traveling with my daughter, we did not feel safe! There was no check in and anyone can drive through. The town around the area was very sketchy.
The campground had the standard water, 30 amp, and dump station. unfortunately, it was a giant mud pit when we were there. The spots and road are not paved or have gravel. For the cost, it was pretty basic.
It was a rainy weekend and the kids still had a blast. We had the Moms due that paint and sip event for Mother’s Day and it was well planned and enjoyed! Not great cell phone service but it was great to disconnect. Highly recommend this to all looking for a family friendly location with a lot to…
tent camping experience was great untill it down poured, but was worth it, rented row boats and hung out on the lake
