Hidden Springs Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Hidden Springs Campground sits in the hills outside Clearville, Pennsylvania, operating from May through November with full-hookup sites accommodating rigs up to 50 feet. The campground is compact by design. Sites are close together, which means the layout feels communal rather than spread out, and weekends fill up noticeably, though multiple visitors report that noise stays manageable even when the grounds are at capacity.

Fishing and swimming are the two activities that come up most consistently in reviews. A pond on the property draws anglers, and a pool provides an alternative to the water. "Swimming pool available and pond for fishing," notes Jordan B., who also points to a small on-site store and covered pavilions suited to group gatherings. A playground rounds out the amenity set for families. The bathhouse earns consistent praise for cleanliness and lighting, and it sits centrally enough that no site is far from it.

Sites are described as fairly level and well-maintained, with electric, water, and sewer hookups available. Rates run $58 to $70 per night. Gas stations are sparse in the immediate area, so arriving with a full tank is worth planning for. Rocky Gap Casino is close by for those who want it. Campers wanting a state park experience nearby can look at Rocky Gap State Park Campground, and those interested in dispersed camping have access to Green Ridge State Forest Dispersed — Troutman Road Overlook for a more remote alternative.

Great Family Campground

We had a very positive experience at Hidden Springs. We stayed 4 nights, the first two were very quiet at the campground. They filled up on Frday and Saturday but it still was relatively quiet for the amount of campers in the park. The shower/bath house is very nice, clean, well lit, and central to all sites. Very close to Rocky Gap casino, however, if you are doing much traveling around the area otherwise, there is not a whole lot close by. Especially gas stations!

Very nice friendly campground

Many E/W only sites but all sites are nice and fairly level, well maintained!

We have now added septic to an additional 10 sites, only 6 w/e only sites now! Glad you enjoyed your stay with us!

Great for parties

It’s a pretty small campground and the sites are close together but it’s very quaint and everything is easy to get to. They provide a good sized pool along with a little store. There’s is a pond for fishing and a playground for kids. This campground I would say is more for campers with little experience.
