Forest Service roads lead to Quartz Mountain Sno-park, situated within the Fremont-Winema National Forest in south-central Oregon. This established campground sits in forested terrain near a lake, managed by the US Forest Service as part of the broader network of camping destinations around Fremont National Forest. The sno-park designation indicates winter recreation focus, though summer camping access depends on seasonal road conditions and snow levels. Holbrook Reservoir provides an alternative option less than four miles south for campers seeking additional forest camping in the area.
