SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Mt. Hood National Forest's Fan Creek campground sits along a walk-in access route within the forest's Detroit-area corridor, accommodating RVs up to 24 feet. It's small. One picnic table serves the site, alongside multiple fire pits, with drinking water and toilet facilities on-site, though the bathroom has not always been serviced. Cell coverage is limited, and past visitors have noted litter, so arriving with trash bags is practical. Campers interested in tent campgrounds near Mt. Hood National Forest will find several options in the surrounding area. Nearby established sites include Collawash River Dispersed Campsite roughly a mile north. Confirm amenity status with the US Forest Service before heading out.

Very nice campground

There is not a sign stating the name of the campground but I have to assume that it is Little Fan Creek. There is one picnic table and multiple fire pits the nicest of the fire pits is next to the site with the picnic table. It looks like someone took a lot of time making it. There is a bathroom but it is not currently serviced. This is a walk in campground. When I arrived there was a lot of paper trash around the site, but I cleaned it up. It was very peaceful with no one else camping there.
