Annie Creek Road

Winema National Forest manages Annie Creek Road as a dispersed camping area, accessible by driving down a road that appears rougher than it is. One reviewer made it through with a 33-foot fifth wheel after initial hesitation. Sites closer to the Sno-Park lot see more traffic noise, while spots further down the road tend to be quieter and more open. Dense tree cover is consistent throughout. Crater Lake's south entrance sits roughly 10 miles up the road, making this a practical base for day visits. Campers exploring places to camp around Fort Klamath will find this corridor has several dispersed options in close proximity, including Annie Creek Sno-Park just down the road. Arriving early helps secure a site away from the parking area.

Several Boondocking Spots

We loved this spot. We went down the road further, which looked like we wouldn’t make it at first but we did fine with our 33ft fifth wheel. We didn’t see any other traffic and had a nice open spot. Tons of trees and 10 miles to the park entrance.

Quick overnight

The spot was behind the Sno Parks lot. Both the lot and camping area were small with a lot of traffic.

We got in early so were able to get a more secluded spot but it was still noisy from the traffic from above and next to us.
